With over fifteen years of experience in mortgage banking, investments and insurance within the finance industry, Rich successfully combines his experience with a strong desire to help his clients. Rich began his mortgage banking career with Lighthouse Community Bank when he relocated to Hilton Head Island in 1994, assisting in building one of the area’s most successful community banks. Lighthouse was acquired by Suntrust Bank in 2003. Rich was named one of the nation’s top producers in various trade publications and earned the status of Chairman’s Circle and President’s Club with SunTrust Bank.

Mr. Sebastian graduated from Albright college in 1969 with a B.S. in Economics. He was named president of Safeguard Industrial Corporation in 1979 and continued work in that capacity until the sale of the company in 1989. Appointed as a division president at Figgie International, and he continued to work in the Industrial distribution industry until moving to the Low Country in 1994.

Rich founded Harbor Light Insurance and Wealth Advisors LLC, along with partner Rob Gillinder in 2009. Mr. Sebastian is a registered representative of GWN Securities Inc.

Originally from PA, Gina graduated from Wilkes University in 1993 with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Gina worked for a broker/dealer for several years in the 1990's and then worked in accounting until 1999 when she moved to Hilton Head. Gina joined Harbor Light in 2010 as office manager and administrative assistant and now also works with her father, Rich Sebastian, as a registered rep, and our newest team member Stephen Arthur,  forming Harbor Light's Wealth Team. Gina is a registered representative of GWN Securities Inc.

A PA native, and a graduate of Monmouth University in NJ, Harry relocated to Bluffton in 2010 and joined Harbor Light shortly thereafter. Harry brings 43 years of insurance experience to Harbor Light. Harry approaches his client’s needs based upon the overall account, not single policies. He makes sure his customers understand what coverage’s they have and what options are available to maximize savings. Harry is an outdoors enthusiast, an active community volunteer and served as a Bluffton Town Councilman.

With more than 2 decades in the insurance industry, Alan has been a commercial producer, a senior vice president managing policy services and marketing departments in 12 states and an independent insurance marketing consultant. From Homeowners to Commercial and everything in between, his rare combination of strategic and tactical planning brings fulfilling your insurance needs from ordinary to extraordinary.

Alan has served 5 years as a trustee/board member at Charleston Southern University , is chairman of several committees at First Baptist Bluffton and is a Business and Life Strategies coach at Crosspoint Bluffton. Alan is also a sales agent with 10+ years experience at ERA Realty. Alan joined Harbor Light in 2012.

An Ohio native, Chris has been a Hilton Head resident since 1993. Chris's knowledge and experience with the Hilton Head and Bluffton areas along with his vast customer service skills, make him an excellent choice in an insurance agent. Chris is thorough and evaluates each client situation and works to find the best coverage for each individual.

Chris joined Harbor Light in 2013.
